Implementation of the supervision and control system

The supervision system allows to automate all the production phases of the Candeal Commercio plant. The concept of automatic production batches has been implemented which allows the plant to operate in the absence of direct supervision: in case of need it is in fact possible to intervene on the plants by connecting even remotely, thanks to the management of warnings and alarms that notify the authorized operators to intervene in the process.

To recap, here are the details of the application:
the application was created with Ignition 8.1.5 and has 22 main navigation synoptic pages referenced by 25,800 Tags and 2 Siemens S7 400 CPUs.

The system is installed in a VMware vSphere virtual infrastructure, which uses a main server, a replica server.

All the data collected from the field flows into an SQL database which the company uses to manage production and to manage traceability.

CAP Service Srl has developed the software for the control of the whole meat freezing process and the relative palletization.

The management is of a Cartonfreezer with the possibility of reaching .30 °.

The plant is fully interfaced with the factory system (AS400) allowing the automatic sorting of the meat based on the characteristics such as fat percentage, type of cut, batch to which it belongs, customer ….

All managed with an RFID system, tracing the “history” of each individual box and then arriving at the automatic palletizing system with relative fiscal weighing and automatic label printing.

Supply of software and automation panel for the management of Cogeneration.

The entire production process was fully automated using a PLC and SCADAsystem. From the control room operators have complete control of the system in real time through a system of recipes stored on the database, they can start each day preparing the list of daily production that the system will operate automatically.

CAP Service provided and installed a new cabinet in full plc replacement of old electromechanical system for the management of flour.

System for receiving, processing and grain storage with storage capacity of 15,000 q with an hourly capacity of and consists of a battery of eight silos and warehouses,divided into two different areas. The possible processes are cleaning, drying and roasting.

CAP SERVICE has received an order for the development of automation system for a new cogeneration plant in Italy. The plant consists of a gas turbine of 6,300 kW, a gas recovery boiler which produces steam, heated water through a battery placed in the rear and two steam generators to produce steam.

Strong for the positive results obtained in this sector, CAP Service srl has been responsible for managing and developing a furtherautomation system for air transport in Finland.
